I am a native-born Oregonian who enjoys writing, reading a variety of topics, and spending time with my husband and pets in our country home.  I enjoy writing and find that Hubbing gives me an outlet for my hobby.

I am ever on a journey to find self-sustaining projects and products that allow me to enjoy our environment in a way that is satisfying, and also contributes to conservation and lowering our own costs.  I have a long way to go before being a homesteader by any means, but I love the concept and will continue to enjoy working toward that goal.

My inquisitvie mind gets bored quickly, and I find that if I feed it with fresh information and goals, I am more at ease in every day life.  Writing gives me the outlet to work on learning (the input) and then sharing and expressing what I have learned (the output). Hubpages has been a perfect match for me.

Being a people watcher is something I've always enjoyed, and if you are looking for fresh ideas for things to write about, you might sit for an afternoon at the park and really watch those around you.  You just might find a wealth of things that get your imagination going.
